Hugh Wilmar – English

The Tintin-like story of Hugh Alexander Wilmar begins on May 28, 1923. He is fearless and has strong opinions. Wilmar moves on the world stage of World War II and the postwar period. It is the story of a career that develops like a whirlwind. He is Englander, War Photographer in the Dutch East Indies, travel photojournalist for the Panorama and Catholic Illustrated and filmmaker employed by Disney.

Stichting Hugo Wilmar

Stichting Hugo Wilmar was established to make public the family archive, consisting of hundreds of photographs, several films and dozens of letters. We have also set ourselves the goal of promoting the cultural-historical heritage of H.A. Wilmar, which is housed at the various archives. We do this through projects, promotion and partnerships with the various national and international archives. This website was made possible in part by worcflow visual marketing.
